Señor Tallos Grenache Blanc & Chenin '23 Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge/Overberg and v creamy with pearBernhard Bredell affectionately named this wine Mr. Stems, alluding to the treatment of the grapes in the cellar. Orange or Skin Contact White Wine is making a name for it and more producers are trying their hand at it. In essence, Orange wine is white grape varietes, in this case Grenache & Chenin Blanc, but treated like a red wine in the sense that the skins are left to macerate in the juice with the hope of extracting more flavour and texture.
