The cut out figure kneels, with bow drawn back ready to loose an arrow fine texturing in contrast with the crisp, diamond cut border. Built in 9ct gold and likely Italian, it dates from the 1970s. Per Wikipedia: "When Sagittarius is depicted as an archer, then he is classified as human but when represented as a centaur, he is nonhuman (bestial).
