大正時代に持ち主である画家の印刷所が火災に遭い、その焼け跡から拾い上げられたと言う土人形。この11体をまとめて手に入れたときに、教えて貰ったエピソードですが、土人形は煤けてはいない。実際に火事の焼け跡から拾われたのかは半信半疑ですが、次の持ち主への伝言ゲームがうまくいくのだろうかと、ちょっと不安になって、立ち止まって考えてみたくなってしまいます。
