From the Southwest Distillery team (the same ones who brought us Tarquin's Gins) have only gone and put a spin on their original Spiced Rum through adding in Coconut & Lychee

this Gin has wonderful Floral notes running throughout with some Soft Herbaceous and Spice notes and a burst of Citrus to mellow it out

Whilst many Rums do use Cocoa Beans within the distillation process the Ruby Cocoa Bean is unfermented (the process which caused Cocoa Beans to turn Brown) which is what causes the Red/Pink colour of the Rum and gives a Fruitier flavour

This release from the DonQ team is their standard level expression which is made with a multiple distillation process and then allowed to age in American Oak Barrels to help boost the smooth characteristics of the rum
