わたしの製本教室に来てくれたのがきっかけで、初めて特装の仕事を依頼してくれたのは、グラフィックデザイナーの山口信博さんでした。その依頼内容は、著者との手紙、通らなかったデザイン案、校正刷りなど、山口さんが本をデザインする過程で生まれ出たものをまとめて製本し、一冊ずつ箱に収めることでした。その時につくった10冊の特装本と箱は、2010年に三重のギャラリーやまほんで開催された「IN prints ON Paper 〜 山口信博・紙の上の仕事」展で、展示されることになりました。
