Prairie plants have adapted to the rigors of drought and wind

Rodents and rabbits are the coyote’s main food source

Winter Warrior Size:20x30 I spent an early morningPrince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan I spent many hours, days, and weeks over the winter months searching for the elusive wolf. I love trying to capture images of this species, because they are so shy. It was quite an adventure trying to get close enough to capture an image of them; my days were filled with tracking, sitting in my blind, learning how to howl, getting my truck stuck, and many other great moments watching these incredible animals.
