This July morning started out like most other recent mornings with cool temperatures that brought mist to the low lying landscape here in Northern Illinois

I was fortunate to have seen this river duck

Combining the recent snowfall and the sunshine predicted

Snow covered cattails are viewed from this wetland prairie landscape at Wildflower Park

I could smell the beautiful sweet fragrance of the common milkweed
