Projects begin as theoretical propositions and remain so, regardless of their realisation on site. Built or unbuilt, they all exist within some kind of Platonic space to which the architects keep returning. The selection of works featured in this issue is not an archive of their work, but rather a research atlas in which the montage of architectural drawings, site
