but as soon as I walked back up the road

The stage is set

Most of us associate pelicans with summer trips to the coast, but hold on is that Lake Erie? Sure enough, this young Brown Pelican showed up off Cleveland Metroparks. Wendy Park about a week ago. Ironically, there was another pelican in the very same spot seven years ago that became a local celebrity earning its very own t shirt at Cleveland Clothing Co. & a namesake beer at Great Lakes Brewing Company.
