Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Ring victorian it served as the locationGorgeous Georgian solitaire ring centred around a large rose cut diamond set over foil in a silver rub over mount. The principal stone is flanked by trios of rose cut diamonds in foliate fleur de lis shoulders leading to a simple 15ct gold band. The stones are particularly bright, on account of their foil backed settings, and it dates from the latter half of the 18th century, circa 1780, the band having been added sometime later. Era: Georgian circa
