In the 11 experiments the children are encouraged to predict outcomes before carrying out simple and interesting experiments involving bubbles, making rainbows, seeing how plants need oxygen, air in balloons etc. There is a wonderful 2 page spread on environmental care which should engender great discussion, which in turn will help the children's oral language development.
