this handle would have been wound either clockwise or anticlockwise to adjust the signal wire running out the the signal

A piece is chipped underneath the lid but does not notice when displaced

This locomotive most of its working like at Maesteg Colliery St Johns wash plant, Llynvi. This fine whistle is in ex loco condition but has been lightly polished. The whistle measures 13" long with a diameter of 1 1 2" on the whistle tube.
