Embroidered Hummingbird | Deep Periwinkle Industrial_Lamp - weaving is 12" wideYears ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!). Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch. Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames like this beautiful hummingbird! I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a vintage Teak bowl as the outer frame. I love how the teak of the outer frame helps accent the wood of the hummingbird.
