I decided to go off trail to capture the sunlight as it penetrated through to the forest floor and illuminate the autumn colors of maple

I stood up from where I was sitting on the log and took a couple last shots when I noticed two moose coming out from the pine forest and into the lake to feed on the vegetation

The first things I see while starting out on my walk are the peachleaf willow trees that greet me while a mist hovers over a cool landscape with a beautiful and colorful spring sunrise off in the distance at Wildflower Park

WHISPERS OF THE WINTER CREEK Size:10x15 METAL PRINT This year was the recordAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3442)
