No matter what these are a rare example of a German rubber sole jackboot from 1941

there are some letters scratched into it AXX

The metal pieces have some tarnishing and one looks like it got a little squished

I was not able to find a discernible marking on the cross but it may have faint markings on the ring

I believe it might be missing its outer wrapper, as this is what you normally find inside the standard fabric wrapped first aid bandages.
