they have a patina to them that makes them look a bit salty although still much nicer than many examples

I would own piles of these if I could

This is very possibly war time or earlier, but may also early early post war (it is hard to date traditional wood items). It is fairly worn and has been repaired. The arms look like they have been glued back on or repaired a few times.
