Comando G Las Umbrias, Rozas de Puerto Real, Sierra de Gredos, 2020 Tarlant Veneto based La Cantina PizzolatoComando G is the winemaking venture of Dani Landi and Fernando Garcia, with a focus upon old vine Grenache (Garnacha) from the rugged Gredos mountains to the West of Madrid. It's important to say from the outset that these wines are not in the mould of sometimes overly ripe, extracted Grenache with high alcohol levels. Comando G (the G stands for Grenache) approach their winemaking in a way which exhibits elegance, refinement and a lightness of touch.
