There is limited cross compatibility: The whistler battery is the same except that it has a different cover on it which isn't compatible with Durban and doesn't have a lock you can use this to replace a battery and youll just need to un screw the cover from each and swap the Durban cover lock onto the Whistler battery. But this is not a solution if the aim is to have a spare
