Hydrangea Mini seascape and the one where IThis hydrangea mini was painted as part of my Flower of the Week series, which is allowing me to really study each week's flower and experiment with painting it in a variety of ways, sizes and color palettes. For this painting, I was inspired by those massive rows of mixed hydrangeas you see in photos of New England and the like, and it was a joy to include three different varieties of hydrangea, which gives it a fun, playful feel!
