Kapa earrings perpetuate the traditional art of kapa (barkcloth) making in old Hawaii. Kapa was the main textile used in traditional life and used for clothing and bed coverings. Both the kapa and earrings are created by kapa maker Kalea Raymond. Kapa is coated in a thin, natural based resin for longevity. Findings are hypoallergenic sterling silver and gold
