Ardbeg An Oa 12yo vanilla and leatherAn Oa (pronounced an oh) joined the core Ardbeg range in 2017. Matured in a combination of ex Pedro Ximnez sherry casks, virgin oak and ex Bourbon barrels and then vatted and married in a new bespoke "gathering vat" made from French oak. Non chillfiltered and bottled at 46. 6%. (Bottle size 750ml) Nose: Rounded and smoky with creamy toffee, aniseed and dates. A suggestion of juicy fruits along with fragrant candle wax, sea air and smoked herbs.
