Hajar underlay light red and subtle yellowA fine 1930s Q'ashqai rug from Fars in south west Persia. Terracotta lozenge shaped field with ivory centre medallions; dark blue spandrels, each with a terracotta stepsided medallion and flowerhead centre; narrow dark brown flowerhead main border and striped guards. Overall even wear. Slight loss to ends and edges and we have mended a small nick on the top end. 201 x 125 cm
