With a 14.4-meter turn radius serving as a symbol of superior carve-ability, this piste destroyer becomes just that: a grippy, responsive, and carvy performer that absolutely rips on groomed terrain
It feels quite stiff when you stand there and bend it but when riding it, it feels more forgiving than an 8/10 would suggest
Verdict : Fenix wins for specifications per dollar
Freeride Directional Shape IT has a longer nose, shorter tail and 7mm of taper that helps the board turn easily, and naturally float in deeper snow
As always, Fenixs quality is top-notch, the battery is a standard button top and can be user swapped
