I still have a couple old Shimano spinning reels that had drags on the bottom
This reel will provide excellent strength and durability while working like a champ season after season
Each turn of the handle of the 5.8:1 takes up 31 inches
It operates just as good as the day I got it
I did get one that was really loud on the cast, like the bearings were dry
